New CSG Label Debuts to Cheers from Sports Card Fans

Hours before one of the biggest and hottest sports card shows began in Las Vegas, Nevada, Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) announced an exciting redesign of the CSG certification label. Collectors attending The MINT Collective were able to see the brand-new CSG label in person, and the response was awesome.

Following the announcement, collectors took to social media to share their thoughts and appreciation for the new CSG label. Twitter user Luis (@seito76) had this to say: “Love the new direction you’re taking. I really do believe that CSG is the future of grading.”

On Instagram, Dealer @FansOnlyCollectibles said: “As a dealer with CSG I always saw the value of this company with beautiful clear cases and being one of the older grading companies around I believe this is going to be big for them! #LetsGo”

Another Instagram user, Darren (@bigdscollectibles) responded with: “Oh my God those labels are awesome,” and asked about getting the new label for his submission that he recently shipped. Many collectors, like @bigdscollectibles, will be thrilled to know that they are getting the new label for submissions currently at CSG headquarters.

Playing to win

CSG recently spent months investing in extensive testing, market studies and focus groups to arrive at the new look. The new CSG certification label features a sleek black, silver and gold design, which complements the vast majority of cards on the market and does not distract from the card itself.

CSG also refined its grading scale as a part of this new update. With the addition of Gem Mint 10, the updated grading scale is now aligned more closely with the sports card market. The new CSG Grading Scale can be found here.
