Introducing the CSG Perfect 10 Label

Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) is thrilled to unveil an all-new label reserved exclusively for the best of the best — the CSG Perfect 10. The bold, foil-embossed label features an eye-catching lustrous gold “Perfect 10” that distinguishes the high-caliber cards that have earned the coveted grade. At last, the perfect holder meets the perfect label.

A Perfect 10 is a card that has received the grade of Gem Mint 10 with all four grading criteria — centering, corners, edges and surface — being 10. This “quad 10” is the best a card can be and is flawless under 10-times magnification. For cards that merit the CSG Perfect 10 grade, CSG provides complimentary quad 10 sub-grades on the back of the label, which underscore the card’s impeccable condition.

CSG spent months conducting extensive testing, market studies and focus groups to arrive at a new look. In April, the redesigned standard CSG certification label — in black, silver and gold — debuted to an overwhelmingly positive response from collectors and dealers. The CSG Perfect 10 label builds on that release, with a special design appropriate for superlative cards.

The CSG Perfect 10 label also features microprinting, UV ink, holographic foil and a unique certification number and barcode to prevent counterfeiting. A QR code on the back of the label enables the quick look-up of a card and its images on the CSG website.

A label fit for the hobby’s best holder

CSG invested significant time and resources to develop the hobby’s best holder for sports cards. The result is a display-worthy holder that provides superior long-term protection. Crystal-clear optics showcase a card’s color and detail, while the sturdy, ultrasonically-welded case resists impacts and tampering. Plus, with five different thicknesses, the CSG holder accommodates more sizes of thick cards than any other third-party sports card grading service.

Since CSG launched in early 2020, collectors and dealers have praised the CSG holder for its slick look and feel. Now, with the new CSG labels, CSG-certified cards deliver the ultimate presentation — beautiful to behold and solid in hand.

CSG will immediately begin encapsulating cards graded CSG Perfect 10 with the new CSG Perfect 10 label, and quad 10 sub-grades will automatically be printed on the back of the label. Cards already encapsulated with the original CSG green label can be resubmitted for the new CSG label for a reduced ReHolder fee of just $5 per card until June 30, 2022.
